Hi, pals! I’m Cassie.

  • I’m a 30 something writer in Nashville, TN, by way of Georgia and Illinois. I love most things here, but I’d be lying if I said I didn’t miss the sunsets and stars of that small South Georgia town. For the record, I do NOT miss Illinois.

  • Usually I’m a blonde, sometimes (currently) I’m a brunette, and I’m smack dab in the middle of unraveling all the tough stuff in my life, in order to make it more beautiful. More meaningful.

  • I’m a 2 on the Enneagram, which basically means I’m the most helpful and hope filled pushy and intrusive person in your life. I’m working on it.

  • I’m Paleo-ish. So no grains, no sugar, no dairy, no legumes…most of the time.

  • I’m a cheerleader for safer beauty and I’m so thankful to work with Beautycounter to help people make the #switchtosafer.

  • I love the people that make up the country music industry here in Nashville. I’m lucky enough to be surrounded by the best in the business, and I don’t take a second of the life I get to live for granted.

  • I’m a huge advocate for therapy. And I don’t say that lightly, or as some privileged chick who has all the time and money in the world. I know the financial sacrifice it may take, but I promise; it is worth it and necessary.

  • I love cozy corners and Hygge, and you’ll never see me turn down a latte and a chick flick.

  • I love traveling and hiking and camping. I also love hunting and fishing and cooking elaborate meals in my tiny kitchen.

  • Words are what I’m best at. They’re also what tend to get me into the most trouble. All the words.

  • More than anything, I love to laugh. And I believe we all deserve a life of light and love. Hard earned through hard work. That’s where true strength comes from. Knowing who we are through and through. Good and bad. And our joy comes from taking that strength and using it to understand others.

I personally think everything is more fun with friends, so if you want, I’d love to find that strength and joy, and maybe even figure life out, together.
